The IU Bucket List

So every year, the Auditorium Summer Staff gets to welcome all incoming freshman into our lovely facility for the Freshman Orientation Program. This year, as part of their orientation “gear” the freshman were given a magnet with called the “Must Do at IU- A Bucket List for the true Hoosier.” This magnet is pretty cool.

Some recent graduates were departing summer staff in a matter of weeks and they took it on themselves to do everything that they hadn’t done before leaving Bloomington. They were a bit rushed.

It got me thinking, what all do I want to accomplish in the next year before heading out? I want to be able to leave this town and say, “I did it all.”

So below you will find MY bucket list for IU. It is the bucket list from the Freshman Orientation (a tad cheesy and I have excuses for some) as well as additional “must-do’s” that have been compiled myself and with my trusty friends.

I’ve already gotten pretty far on the list, but let’s see what else I can do! As the year progresses, more will most likely be added to the list and blog postings about my list accomplishments will come! (My  accomplishments are bolded! My accomplishments since starting the blog have a link!)

Schaefer, I just found this. It’s fantastic. I finished all but 10 of those. And I ask you now, oh bucket list queen, does doing them after graduation count?

Great list. I’d also add: “Drink a yard of beer at The Irish Lion along with an order the Blarney Puffballs to munch on.”
